Book Review
One Zentangle a Day by Beckah Krahula
Beckah Krahula is a certified Zentangle instructor who teaches locally and internationally. This book is a little like her workshops, but in written form. The lessons are parcelled up into relatively short units – just fantastic for time-poor creatives!

“In January I purchased One Zentangle a Day by Beckah Krahula from Can Do Books and then spent the whole of January living in the book.
I purchased a small journal and spent each day going through the book page by page.
We all doodle while on the phone or when we are bored and this just makes it all so much better. What a great learning experience! I dabble in porcelain art and whilst on holidays throughout January, it was perfect to keep the artistic juices flowing. The process is intentionally quite meditative. It helps to quiet the mind and focus with a blend of repetitive line drawing and creative application.
So I actually did a Zentangle a day.
When art classes resumed, two of the girls in my class purchased the book and I have since bought it for my daughter and loaned my copy to my granddaughter.
I would recommend it to everyone, the Zen part is most relaxing and the surprise you get when you’ve completed your Zentangle is joyous!”
