Craft for Kids Foundation …
In 2016, the Craft for Kids Foundation was established by Expertise Events to help disadvantaged kids by redistributing craft supplies that people could no longer use.
Giving all kids creativity with a little bit of help from you!
The Craft for Kids Foundation is for the collection and distribution of craft supplies, to give to charities for children in their care to use in craft activities. Craft allows children to explore their creativity and is pure expression through their eyes with no rules or boundaries.
You are invited to bring in your unwanted craft supplies ‘in person’ and place them in the special Craft for Kids Foundation area at the Melbourne Stitches & Craft Show this week (November 23 – 26). Your donation will be stored in Expertise Events’ warehouse then delivered to charities.
So please do have a rummage through your unwanted craft supplies in coming days and bring them along to pass onto the Foundation. Craft for Kids Foundation will donate craft supplies to charities that care for Australian children who are physically, emotionally, financially or geographically disadvantaged.
Craft items you can donate include yarn, fabric, paper, lace, braid, craft tools, embellishments.
Items that won’t be accepted include: unfinished projects, money, glue, knitting needles, crochet hooks or pattern books.
If you are in Sydney, you can also deliver suitable items in person or by post to:
Expertise Events, Unit 4, No 1 Skyline Place, Frenchs Forest, NSW.
Call beforehand to check opening hours on 02 9452 7575.
