Product Review: Multipom

Want to make lots of pompoms, fast? They’re a fun and festive decoration and not just for the top of beanies – think cushion corners, blankets, bags tags, key rings, garlands, wreaths…

Here’s a handy gadget that makes it much quicker and easier than the usual two-circles-of-cardboard method. And you can make up to 20 pompoms at one time – careful you might end up with pompoms on everything!

Here’s how it works.

  1. Wrap yarn around the indentations in the frame, 80 wraps is suggested.
  2. Tie at regular intervals.
  3. Cut through the yarn between the ties and at the frame,
  4. Fluff up your pompoms. We used cotton yarn as these will be used to decorate a cotton cushion; use wool for lovely fat pompoms. Your yarn choice will determine the finished result.
